Jean has been quilting for thirty years and writing in one form or another for longer. Upon retiring from her career as a medical lab technologist, she took up writing seriously. Her first book, Surprise, A Storybook Quilt meshed her fabric art with the written word.

The vibrant colors and textures jump from the pages and stimulate the senses of children and quilters alike. The book evolved from a quilt and poem I created for one of my grand-daughters.
