Jean has been quilting for thirty years and writing in one form or another for longer. Upon retiring from her career as a medical lab technologist, she took up writing seriously. Her first book, Surprise, A Storybook Quilt meshed her fabric art with the written word.

Textured Toe Shoes
Created during Covid. I was faced with an assignment in my online art class. We were to draw a pair of toe shoes from an image our instructor provide. The urge to reproduce them in fabric overtook me and at my husband's suggestion I created them in a rainbow of colours.
